"If you have never viewed a stereoscopic image before, the first time is difficult.
It's a bit like riding a bike though. Once you've done it, you never forget!"
This quote by web-writer Darrel Payne, well encloses the fascinating world of stereoscopic images. The focal point of my thesis, from which several more in-depth concepts are developed, is precisely the stereoscopy.
Despite its discovery is very ancient, the technique of artificial stereoscopy continues to intrigue professionals in every field.
Cinema, TV and video games all have a present/future in 3D, so why not try it with fashion photography ?
This photographic project experiments the technique of anaglyph and phantogram on an unusual model: the Barbie, icon par excellence of fashion and style, whose clothes, designed and entirely hand-made, take inspiration from some haute couture brands such as Givenchy, Valentino, Dolce&Gabbana.

The images that use the anaglyph technique have an illusion of greater depth when in front of or behind the main subject there are other elements, which is why I also made various prop scene for the set.
Wear the classic 3D goggles to enjoy the best of my work!
